DJ'ing Equipment. 2 x Technics 1210Mk2 with Ortofon Concorde NightClub E Behringer DJX700 Pioneer HDJ-1000 Cambridge Audio Amp TDL Nukleus KV1 Recording & Guitar Gear Marshall TSL122 Fender Stratocaster Line 6 UX1 Cubase Mostly Trance, Psy-Trance, and Hard Trance, but there is a mass of old Hard House too. I suppose I've come to the game quite late really, I always wanted some decks when i was in my teens. A few years later I met a group of people in school that were into doing Cabaret Shows and entertaining old dears with singing dancing etc, so i joined up with them and became their sound engineer and when they did a large production in the school lighting engineer too. This takes us to about the age of 16-17 I guess. From there really have a lot to do with music, until i was about 19, where a friend of mine handed me a guitar, and that's where my guitar career began, from then on I learnt practically the entire Bon Jovi back catalogue, and worked on a lot of blues/rock stuff. I got into DJ'ing when i was about 24, when a mate (Si Allen) from work handed me a CD he had done for promotional purposes, Hard House. I was hooked, the turn that did it? SJ & Baby Doc - I Need You I spent months going around to Si's house, drinking and learning to DJ and from there found my calling, Trance and Hard Trance. I managed to lay my hands on a bargain on Ebay that year before going to Glastonbury. My 1210's, and bought my mixer from HTFR in birmingham. After that, I bought a house and they have really just sat about doing nothing since 2006, after playing Hard'r Times a few times at Most Wanted in Stafford, as i haven't had the space. Recently i have converted some space into an office/come recording studio and here i am, raring to go! DJ Influences Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Glazby, Amber Haslem, Lee Haslem, Si Allen, Rob Tissera, Tiesto, and Paul Van Dyk (but there are more!). Guitar Influences Richie Sambora, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dave Gilmour, Angus Young, Phil Collen, Gary Moore, and Slash (there are more!)

Growing up in the 90's has very much left its mark on me, it was a magical time and most of by clubbing days were down in the Bournemouth area and later on in London and Kent. My early influences were DJs such as Danny Rampling, Lisa Lashes, Jon 00 flemming, Roger Sanchez, Tony De Vit, Carl Cox, Billy Nasty, Farley Jackmaster Funk, John pleased Wimmin, Sacha and Digweed, Mickey F, the list goes on. Today i mix a lot of Hard House, Hard Dance and Trance. Completely self taught and probably doing it all wrong. 🤣 Owner @shakkshouse music. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090528672768 Instagram @dj.shakkadreadz. Twitter @shakkadreadz

I've been DJing since the early 80s and have always had a passion for dance music. When Covid killed the events industry in 2020, I've been creating DJ friendly edits of songs I enjoy and songs I play at events just to help me from going crazy. I hope you enjoy them. If you do, give them a like and maybe a follow! Thanks, Alexander
